En-TICE-ing Agility Dog Training owner Jill Tice has over 20 years experience competing in agility. Shortly after being introduced to the sport Jill began teaching classes in her community for local agility enthusiasts.
Jill has attended continuing education programs taught by nationally recognized experts in the sport of agility and dog training. The seminars and workshops offered her the opportunity to further her skills and bring new training techniques to her students. Over the years she has participated in workshops given by such experts as Gary Wilkes, Stuart Mah and Patti Hatfield. In addition, she has attended a number of Clean Run Camps where she was introduced to various training approaches and techniques taught by accomplished competitors such as Nancy Gyes, Rachel Sanders, Susan Garrett, Jen Pinder, Elicia Calhoun and Wendy Pape.
There are a number of associations/organizations offering agility competitors the opportunity to compete for titles. Jill’s expertise and accomplishments include titling in USDAA, AKC,CPE,UKC and NADAC events. In addition, Jill’s experience competing with a number of purebred and mixed breed dogs has given her great insight into how different dogs learn and how this effects their performance on the agility course.
